We are narrowboat builders with 25 years experience, based in Warwickshire in the heart of canal country, the Kate Boats team are building quality bespoke narrowboats and widebeams. We also run a hire fleet, and build our own boats for that fleet, which we feel gives us a great insight into creating boats which look beautiful when they are new, but ten years “down the cut” are still looking good.

We build to a wide range of requirements, some of our recent narrowboats have been gas free, either using diesel cooking or electric, we have installed underfloor central heating, we recently fitted an Heritage cooker. The boat in the picture above has stainless steel worktops and painted walls. We don’t have a “standard build”.
